These Terms of Use govern your use of Flappy Lab, including the Reddit Devvit app and this website at flappylab.lol. By playing, creating, posting, or visiting the site, you agree to these terms.

1. What Flappy Lab is

Flappy Lab is a free browser game and game maker that runs inside Reddit posts. You can play community games, upload art (including GIFs), tune physics, and post a custom game from your Reddit account. Official daily games may also appear on participating communities.

Flappy Lab is not affiliated with the original Flappy Bird. Reddit is a separate platform; you must also follow Reddit’s User Agreement and Reddit Rules.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You need a Reddit account for posting games and submitting scores. Guests may play posted games. You are responsible for activity on your Reddit account.

3. Your content

• You keep whatever rights you have in images, GIFs, titles, and other content you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, display, and serve that content as part of the game post on Reddit so others can play it.
• You must have the right to use everything you upload. Do not post illegal content, sexual content involving minors, malware, or content that violates Reddit’s rules.
• Custom games are public Reddit posts. Other people will see your title, art, and leaderboard name.
• Posts you create through the app are attributed to your Reddit account. Moderators may remove posts like any other Reddit content.

4. Acceptable use

Do not:

• Cheat, abuse leaderboards, or interfere with other players’ games.
• Attempt to break, scrape, or overload the app or Reddit’s systems.
• Use the app to spam, harass, or impersonate others.
• Reverse engineer the app except where the law allows.

5. Official daily games and GitHub fetch

The app may fetch public files from raw.githubusercontent.com so an official daily game can be posted. That fetch is server-side and is not used to send your personal data to GitHub. Daily posts are official Flappy Lab posts, not your personal posts.

6. Rewards

Optional creator rewards, if offered, are operated separately (including via flappylab.influex.net). Rewards are not guaranteed, may change or end, and may have their own rules. Using Reddit or Flappy Lab does not entitle you to payment.

7. The website

flappylab.lol is a marketing site. It does not host the playable game. Links to Reddit or third-party sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for those sites.

8. Disclaimer

Flappy Lab is provided “as is”. The game may be unavailable, change, or lose scores if a post is deleted or storage limits are hit. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for lost scores, removed posts, or damages arising from use of the app. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; those do not apply where prohibited.

9. Termination

You may stop using Flappy Lab at any time. We or community moderators may remove content or restrict the app. Deleting a post on Reddit also deletes that post’s stored game data in the app.

10. Privacy

How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
